[share title=”Share this” facebook=”true” twitter=”true” reddit=”true”]

A brand-new look at Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice debuted on tonight’s season finale of Gotham, and you can check it out above. If this brief bit of footage of a furious looking Superman and a trench coat wearing Batman in chains isn’t enough for you, not to worry! You can tune in to Jimmy Kimmel Live this Wednesday, December 2, at 11:35 / 10:35 CT for the worldwide debut of the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer. The arrival of this footage was teased last week with a promo video featuring the cast of the show “taking sides”:

And if this isn’t enough Batman v Superman action for you, a new kids book tie-in has surfaced on Amazon. Entitled Cross Fire: An Original Companion Novel, the story details how “[a]fter saving Metropolis from an alien invasion, Superman is now famous around the world. Meanwhile Gotham City’s own guardian, Batman, would rather fight crime from the shadows. But when the devious Doctor Aesop escapes from Arkham Asylum, the two very different heroes begin investigating the same case and a young boy is caught in the cross fire.” The question this raises: who the hell is Doctor Aesop? Also, since when does Superman investigate things? You can see the cover for the book below. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25, 2016.
