It's a pretty great movie. Paul Dano was excellent as was Paul Giamatti. My only complaints were that John Cusack was miscast and the movie sidelining.

It's gently funny, it's compelling, the performances are excellent, and it flies in the face of conventional romantic films, always carving its own path.
Classic US and Foreign Movies on DVD
Let's just get this out of the way first: The One I Love is a great movie to watch, but an almost impossible one to review — not because it ...
The movie as a whole is about their relationship but the sci-fi twist turns it into a pretty sinister story.
The animation is top-notch, the writing is solid, the characters are interesting, the pacing is excellent and it's an all-around blast to watch.
Ted Danson is a shrink who sends a troubled couple (Sophie & Ethan) to a weekend getaway that, he assures them, will help them resolve their marital problems.
The One I Love is a mish-mash of genres, mixing up romance with comedy, drama with elements of fantasy and science fiction.
The first thing I have to say about The Love Witch is that it is one of the most beautiful looking new films I have seen for quite some time.
The movie is romantic, with beautiful-filmed scenes (I love the color throughout the whole movie), and moving. The music sounds good (gotta buy the soundtrack!)
It's a very enjoyable one, though. The score by Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans teems with odd plinks and plunks, the whimsy unsettling.
